Rick spent his student years studying Horticulture at Kings Park and Botanic Gardens in Perth [Australia] before moving to the UK where he undertook Tree Surgery/Arborist studies at Merrist Wood College. Rick was a founding director and manager of a leading and highly credentialed Arboricultural business in Australia for 20 years specializing in large scale tree transplanting operations and Arboricultural Consultancy Services. Rick brings to the company over 35 years of Arboricultural experience, knowledge and passion. He is dedicated to assisting the development of the ‘tree care industry’ in a long lasting Arbor ‘Culture’ in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.

Ricks current local responsibilities in his role as Principal Consultant [or by his own-self obligation] include:

Graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Information Technology. His experience and familiarity with computer systems, applications and programs assist the company in meeting IT demands through implementation of modern technological equipment & programs into the new age Arboriculture industry. Martin is an ISA Certified Arborist with 19 years of experience in land-development planning/ tree assessment & strategizing conservation and is dedicated to advancing and promoting the modern form of Arboriculture industry in Singapore and the region to a higher level. He is WSQ ACTA qualified as well.

Rajesh joined our organization in early 2009 after 20 successful years operating as a German Speaking Tourist Guide in Singapore and Malaysia. Through his early career he has developed a keen eye for natural and urbanized flora and fauna by through translating the self-learnt and researched material to his clients and peers. His developing and focused passion in trees has resulted in a wealth of experience in Arboriculture spanning over 14 years .Being one of the first WSQ Advanced Certificate Landscape (Arboriculture) qualified persons in Singapore, he brings to the company his sharp eye for detail, as well as a sophisticated comprehension of Tree evaluations and feasibility. He is an ISA certified arborist and qualified Tree Risk Assessor with an abundance of experience. He is also a certified coach of landscape leaders entering the industry.

Graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) with a Bachelor Degree (Honours) in Animal Biology, 2006. Shirley joined our team in 2016. Prior to this, she was an Arborist in Wildlife Reserves Singapore and the National Parks Board. She is an ISA Certified Arborist and Tree Risk Assessment Qualified with 12 years’ experience in trees management in Parks and Streetscapes.

Ethan joined our organization in early 2017 having graduated from the University of Melbourne with Bachelor in Environments, majoring in Landscape Architecture. He has a diploma in Landscape Architecture from Singapore Polytechnic and has been in the landscape industry through internship and work in landscape consultant firms. Having been involved in commercial and residential projects both locally and overseas, he has flair and experience in landscape graphic design, a sound knowledge of design development processes and is an ISA-certified Arborist with over 4 years of experience.

Au joined our organization in early of 2017. She graduated from the University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) with Bachelor Degree (Honors) in International Tropical Forestry, 2016. Prior to joining the company, she had completed her internship in Penang Tropical Spice Garden, Malaysia. She is a qualified Tree Risk Assessor since 2017. She likes to explore the new things, meantime she loves to stay close with nature.

Sui Chan joined our organisation in mid-2021. She graduated from the University of Putra-Malaysia in 2007 with full honors and since then has close to more than 15 years hands-on experience in the coordination of Arboriculture and Horticulture management works in the industry. Through her extensive work portfolio with notable projects in South East Asia, she has developed a strong passion for Arboricultural applications in an urban settings as well as a well-honed eye for plant taxonomy.

Dominic studied Conservation and Wildlife Biology in Murdoch University in Perth, Australia, where he enjoyed the fieldwork components of all his units. Prior to joining the company, he participated in a traineeship program in Nanyang Technological University. He is proficient in QGIS and has some basic knowledge of working with R for data analysis.

Jonathan studied at The University of Western Australia, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science, majoring in both Zoology and Botany. Prior to joining the company in 2022, he was a manager in National Parks Board’s Wildlife Management department, picking up experience in public outreach and wildlife management. He has some basic knowledge of working with R and PRIMER.

Graduating with a Higher Nitec in Landscape management and design from ITE college East Singapore, Jasper joined an arboriculture field team during his internship. He is currently undertaking a part time work and study diploma in Arboriculture and horticulture at ITE College East Singapore. Having since developed a strong passion in both horticulture and Tree climbing, he joined our organisation as a full time consultant with a strong passion to become an arborist in urban environments.

Shi Ling graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Environmental Studies. During her course of university, she completed an internship with the company, gaining exposure to flora identification and arboriculture surveys which developed her interest in these areas. She has since then joined the company as a full-time staff to further her interest and gain skills relating to botany and arboriculture. She has basic knowledge working with QGIS and R and is eager to develop her Environmental career.
